Press Release: Killer is Dead exclusive “Nightmare Edition” coming out for the PC in May 2014

Rejoice, PC Owners: if you never got the chance to play Grasshopper Manufacture’s Killer is Dead, Deep Silver announced in a press release today that it will be available for PC this May. This PC version, called “Killer is Dead: Nightmare Edition”, will not only contain all the content from the console version, but its own unique, exclusive goodies.

Yes, it will contain all the content, including the Smooth Operator pack, which will be unlocked after completing Chapter 3 of the main campaign.

Another new feature will be the inclusion of a new difficulty mode: Nightmare mode. This denies the player the use of QTEs in order to defeat enemies; instead, they can only kill foes with the Adrenaline Burst, Dodge Burst, and ever-trusty headshots.

A theatre mode will be added, as well, and will be unlocked after the player’s first playthrough. With it, they can rewatch the game’s cutscenes and dig deeper into the backstories of the game’s characters, allowing a greater understanding of Killer is Dead‘s story.

Killer is Dead: Nightmare Edition
will be available via retail and digital download on May 9, 2014 for 19.99 EUR/USD/GBP.
