Fallout 4, the latest installment in the long-running post-apocalyptic RPG series, has been officially unveiled by its developers after a countdown appeared online yesterday. Set to be released on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, Fallout 4 will be developed by Bethesda, taking over from Blackisle Studios who produced the series’ previous installment, Fallout: New Vegas.
A trailer, uploaded today, shows a dog trotting through a ruined house, intercut with shots from a pre-nuclear war United States. The game looks like it will take a similar form to the past two games, first-person action-RPGs. More discussion of Bethesda’s new game will follow in this evening’s podcast.
