Village Monsters, a life simulation with an exhilarating, if monstrous twist has been successfully funded on the popular crowdfunding platform Kickstarter, accruing a total of $17, 106 from its original $16,000 goal.
To celebrate the news, developer Josh Bossie has released a statement thanking backers for all their support: “I’m thanking you, the monsters are thanking you, even my dog is thanking you. Seriously, I cannot even properly express my gratitude.”
Alongside his heartfelt thanks, Bossie also announced a host of planned developments. Bossie has pledged to update the game with new furniture, monsters, events, upgrades, critters, and much more, all of which will be implemented free-of-charge once the game has officially launched.
In addition, Bossie also plans to add a free multiplayer component, though this is still very much in the planning stages.
Backers will also be thrilled to learn that Bossie is also planning to create a version of Village Monsters for the Nintendo Switch. What’s more, all backers who pledged $25 and above will get a copy of Village Monsters on Nintendo Switch for no additional cost.
