Yesterday marked the introduction of Dawn of War III’s latest and greatest post-launch content update to date, featuring three elite heroes, five cosmetic skins, three multiplayer maps, and new custom match options to challenge players on the battlefield.
The newly introduced elite heroes include the all-conquering Space Marine Ironclad Dreadnought, the devastating Ork Lifta-Droppa Wagon, and the Eldar psyker extraordinaire, Wraithseer Kayduin. New elite skins include the Primaris Chaplain skin for Diomedes, the Deathwing Terminators and Assault Terminators, the Salamander Ironclad Dreadnought, and the Eldar’s Kyre wearing the traditional Farseer helmet.
The three new maps included in the update are the Shrine of Asuryan (1v1), Serpent Chasm (2×2), and Da Extractor (3v3).
The update coincides with the Steam Free Weekend for Dawn of War III, which is currently available on the Steam Store until October 22. Bourgeoning new recruits can purchase the game for 50% discount price until October 23.
